[It's been a while since Yosuke's really made a post. An intentional one. Where there wasn't in interruptions or distractions of Pokémon giving him grief. Nothing clumsy, nothing awkward... for once. Yosuke is just staring the feed straight on, serious. Thoughtful. He's had a lot on his mind.]

So uh... I was kind of wondering something. It's probably a pretty dumb question, but what are we actually supposed to call this place? I mean, we've always just called it Johto, but with Kanto around, what is it? The name of this world...

Even just the regions. Are they more like prefectures, or whole countries? [He crinkles his nose. This isn't the most important topic that's ever come up, but it's been bothering him for a while now.] Argh... why can't they just tell us more things? I can't be the only one sick of not getting any answers about anything around here aside from stuff directly related to Pokémon. What's even the point of not telling us anything after this long?

[Yosuke lets out a sigh, using his free hand to rub his eyes. Maybe he shouldn't be thinking about this at 1AM. It's clearly not the only thing on his mind, even if it's all he's talking about directly. Thinking hurts, and he's been doing way, way too much of that for his own good lately. It's dizzying. People coming and going... mostly going, but some arrivals have left him second guessing his own theories. Needless to say, he's not getting very much sleep right now. If you're in the house, you may find him hanging out in the kitchen for a while before he tries to crawl back in bed again.]

[Today, you're getting a video courtesy of Kana-cam.The youngest of the Cleffamigos noticed Kanji being upset, and after seeing Yosuke is bothered too, she thinks showing him a video would make Kanji feel less sad. Her little crush on Kanji seems to know absolutely no bounds, huh?]

[So here's Yosuke. He's sitting at the desk in his room, crouched forward with his hand over his face. It's hard to tell if he's distressed, annoyed, or just sad, but whatever it is - it's definitely a far cry from what we usually see from him.]

Why... now? [It's vague, yes. But nothing seems to be going right lately and just when he thinks things around him are starting to look up, something else happens.] Now these bastards are just screwing with us. They... they have to be. They're gonna pay, dammit... [He goes quiet, trying to wrap his head around whatever it is he's thinking about. But it's not working.]

Argh!

[He throws his hands in the air, unable to figure it out and leans back in the chair. All the way back. So far back that he falls backwards onto the floor-]

WAAAARGH!!

[The Cleffa lets out a giggle, making her presence known. Yosuke sits up, whipping his head around to see that she's holding the gear - and that the record light is on.]

Dammit -- Kana, turn that off! You don't just-- [He lunges forward, snatching the gear and cutting the feed.]

[20 MINUTES LATER; TEXT]

[The camera comes on to show Yosuke - just Yosuke, for once - he's looking pretty calm and neutral. Even smiling! It's a far cry from his usual flailing. Maybe it's because he's got things to say.]

Whoa, I guess it's been a while since I actually posted something, huh? Hehe... [A small chuckle.] A-anyways, since there's been a bunch of new people coming in and we've all been kind of swamped, I thought maybe I should let everyone know what's been up with the Breeding Centre lately.

Hehe, well, I guess if you don't know, Souji and I - and some other people, too - run a Breeding Centre for Pokémon, and we've got a bunch of different types for sale. Souji's got the list up with his voicemail. Which is here.

We also kind of run a foster home too, so if you need to donate Pokémon or like, you find someone else's, we can take them in. Merlin's got something set up in his voicemail too.

[He pauses for a second, considering. This is getting long winded.]

Sometimes it gets kind of crazy, so I set up one too, that you can get to here. Or you know, if you have anything you want to tell me when I'm not just around or something. [Winks into the camera.]

I think that's pretty much it for now, guys. I know it's not really exciting or anything, but it's a pretty big deal for us.

[He turns the feed off. But then turns it back on after a minute. He forgot something.]

Oh, right--! Daisy-hime... did Luigi ever... like... try to eat your face? Hhaha, uhm... yeah. Because--

[And then he gets cut off by the loud roar of a Gyarados and a bunch of leaves flying into his face. So much for that pleasant post. It looks like Epic the Gyarados and Luigi the Victreebel are having an impromptu battle. In the backyard. What even. He abruptly cuts the feed. He'll get back to all that later.]

[ACTION]

[And once he's through with that, he wanders back into the house, making his way to Nanako's room and knocking on the door.]

He-hey, Nanako-chan, are you in there?

[Feel free to run into Yosuke somewhere in the house before, during, or after all this nonsense -- or even later at the Centre!]

Yo... Rise? Do you have a few minutes?

[Pauses, letting out an uncomfortable chuckle.]

I kinda, uh... need to talk you about something.


[You bet your ass he's sitting in an alley behind the department store so nobody from the centre will hear this, too.]

[Well, this was annoying. He'd been cleaning through the rubble in what used to be his room... only to be transported. Right outside. Yeah, that's right, only to just outside the Breeding Center.]

Oh, what the hell!?

[The obvious answer is to turn the Gear on and see what's going on. So he does so, looking visibly annoyed and confused.]

Okay, can someone tell me what the hell is going on today? Everything's all... crowded and I just like... I don't even know. Transported outside or something! What the...

[And then a small realization.]

And uh... has anyone seen Souji today? He wasn't in the center when I woke up and I haven't seen him since. Or heard from him or anything.

[Which troubles him. For now, he's just gonna sit outside and take a break while he tries to figure out what's up.]

[When Yosuke appears on the screen, he looks a bit... different. A bit exasperated, but more notably? There's a Surskit sitting on his head. Kind of like a hat. Before he starts on what he's posting about, he sighs and:]

Hisoka... can you please get off my head? You're a Pokémon, not a hat, dammit. Geeze...

[But rather than listen to him, the little guy just shifts his legs, tickling Yosuke's neck.] He... hehehe... St-stop that! Hehe... that tickles! Hisokaaa!

[This goes on for a couple of minutes, and in an attempt to get this to stop, he drops his gear. Guess who else wants to play? Jiraiya, the Slowbro of course. Who, as per usual, has decided to lick the screen. When Yosuke notices... oh boy.]

DAMMIT, JIRAIYA! How many times do I have to tell you that's not food!

[He snatches it up before Jiraiya has a chance to further try to eat the gear. Have a nice shot of Yosuke lifting his shirt slightly, using it as a towel to clean off the screen. And another couple of minutes later, he'll pull it back up so he's looking back into the screen.]

Anyways... geeze, where I was I going with-- Oh, right. Valeria-san! We finally made it to Goldenrod, so don't worry too much. I got a couple of jobs coming up, so I'll be able to pay you back for everything and not starve to death. I told you I'd be able to get by, no problem. [He winks into the camera, which probably looks ridiculous with Hisoka on his head.]

The egg hatched a little while ago, too. Everything worked out pretty well, so thanks again!

[A pause, and then a brief moment of thinking out loud.]

Man, we should totally do something cool to celebrate getting here.

[And then his hand goes over the gear, cutting the feed. Feel free to run into him and his unruly Pokémon gang in Goldenrod. Or just comment on how much he fails. Whatever you want!]

[Oh, look who it is. Yosuke is now in Cherrygrove City, drenched from head to toe - his hair, his clothing. He's even notably missing his trademark headphones, which he managed to stash away before the rain completely destroyed them. He's standing under the awning of a shop, ready to go in an try and finagle himself some dry clothes.]

[Before doing that, of course, he switches the video on, looking mildly frustrated.]

Yo...

So is it always like this here? It's practically been raining since I got here, and these torrential downpours... [He's gotten used to the weather not being like this following canon events, so he's a bit uneasy about days of rains] Ugh, anyways. Guess it doesn't matter now that I got here. But man, what I wouldn't give to be warm and dry right now...

[He pauses, and then sneezes right into the camera. Oops. Someone's getting sick!]

Sorry, I guess-- [And he's interrupted once again, this time by what looks like two huge blades RIGHT in front of his face.] GAH! DA-DAMMIT, CHIE, DON'T THAT!

SCCCCCCCCCYTHER!! SCY SCY SCY SCY! [Yes, his Pokémon is laughing him.]

What the hell! C-come on, you know those things are dangerous!! I'm gonna end up being killed by my own Pokémon, aren't I? Nngh.

[Another pause. OH RIGHT. Talking to people. Not the Pokémon. He squirms a little, trying to avoid death by Scyther blades hugging him. Which doesn't entirely work as it's now cut slightly into his chest.]

A-anyways... Kanji? You're, uh... still here, right? I'll meet you at the Center soon. I just need to get some- [Another sneeze!] ...dry clothes. And maybe shower or something. I gotta give these guys a rest too. So I guess I'll see you in a bit.

[He offers an unsure wave into the camera before cutting the feed. Now. To actually do said things -- feel free to run into him anywhere along the way!]
